The AA have been inspecting and recommending hotels for over a century, and in 2018 celebrated 110 years in the hospitality industry.


In collaboration with VisitEngland, VisitScotland, VisitWales and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, they have developed Common Quality Standards for inspecting and rating hotels, guest accommodation and self-catering properties.


Establishments that join the AA accommodation scheme can take advantage of a range of scheme benefits and membership offers.
