FUND-RAISING DINNERS

The Alliance dinner on the 12th October was a great success. The traditional raffle was replaced with an online silent auction which substantially increased the funds raised.

 

The next Alliance dinner will be in early Spring 2019 and details will be posted here, on Twitter and on the newsletter. Our thanks go to all those who supported the dinner and the online auction.

 

The South West Tourism Alliance hosts two dinners each year. They are held at Higher Wiscombe in East Devon. The maximum number of tickets is 50 and each event has been a sell-out. There are no speeches, just honest networking with many of the key influencers in the South West.

 

The food and drink on offer celebrates all that is brilliant locally and the price of the ticket includes all food and refreshments all evening. 

 

From arrival until 9pm the format is networking and canapés, then all are seated for the main course and the raffle. We have a speedy way of dealing with the raffle and each year the prizes get more generous. 

 

Tickets are sold on a first come first served basis and must be paid for in advance. The cost of the food and drink is offset against the takings; every other penny goes to the Alliance. These evenings raise anything from £1500- £2500.
