Battle the Bills

Let Battle Commence!

Let Battle Commence!

A new initiative is being launched to help your business hold onto more of the hard-won sales this winter. With temperatures falling and utility prices rising, businesses will receive help to fight back against the bills that squeeze profits.

Why?
The recent How's Business survey showed that 81% of tourism businesses experienced an increase in their energy costs over the last year. With further increases being introduced to the unit cost the importance of saving, or even generating your own, has never been greater. Government incentives like the Feed in Tariff and Renewable Heat Incentive provide extra motivation for generating your own but the process can often seem daunting.

How?
Battle the Bills aims to help businesses respond positively through a range of different support:

  • Roadshow of bite-sized workshops - Packed with key tips on saving & generating energy and water - no more than an hour from any business and no longer than an hour in length.
  • Video guides - Tourism businesses from across the South West sharing their advice & experience on taking action across a selection of key money-saving topics.
  • Live web-based Q&A - The opportunity to ask experts your burning question on key topics related to cutting your bills.
  • Recommended Renewables - Teaming up with YouGen to help you identify the best installers in your area.
