Number 10 Procurement Announcements

On 01 December 2010, No 10 set out a new approach to supplier relations in Government. This included the launch of a new online feedback facility to enable small and medium sized enterprises to share their experiences of public procurement.  This can be found here.

The new facility asks suppliers, in plain and simple terms, "how to rip up the red tape and bring more common sense into securing government contracts". Comments will be highlighted in new quarterly reports, to be published by the Cabinet Office, and will inform future work to break down the barriers that smaller businesses face in public procurement.
