Switching on to Savings - FREE Half Day Workshop
Are water and fuel bills eating into your hard-earned income? How feasible is it to start generating your own energy? Who can you trust to advise and install?   

The University of Exeter in conjunction with South West Tourism and RegenSW are running 3 half day workshops around the South West to help tourism business operators to discover: 

  • Generating Your Own Energy - Expert independent advice on the opportunities created by the new incentives and how to take advantage of them.
  • Cut Your Energy & Water Bills - Practical advice on getting started and going further in monitoring and managing your energy and water use.
  • First Hand Experience - learn from tourism businesses who are taking action, meet with others to share ideas and contacts.
  • Marketplace: A range of renewable energy installers will be present for you to find out more about what they can offer.
  • The Latest Findings - Hear the headline results of the University's research on how South West tourism businesses are cutting costs, improving quality and their impact.
  • Take a Tour - See how the National Trust are overcoming the challenges posed by historic, protected buildings.

The workshops will start at 11am and end at 2pm, with a free lunch included.

Dates & Locations

13th May - Tyntesfield National Trust Property (Nr Bristol)

19th May - Castle Drogo National Trust Property (Devon)

27th May - Trelissik National Trust Property (Cornwall)

The workshops will all follow the same format. All venues are accessible by public transport, for more details on travel arrangements please go to the National Trust website and follow the links for the respective properties.
