South West Business Advice Road Shows

South West Business Advice Road Shows

A panel of business experts are taking to the road across the South West in April and May 2009 for a series of Business Link backed events, aimed at giving firms the best chance of surviving the downturn.

Supported by the South West Regional Development Agency, the free events, which will offer essential advice, information and support on topics ranging from cash flow to marketing, are the latest in a comprehensive range of assistance developed by Business Link and its partners to help firms combat the challenging market conditions.

At least 10 public sector partners will be on show at the road shows providing essential ‘recession-proofing' support and providing businesses with collective essential help.  The FSB, LSC and Job Centre plus have all been invited regionally along with the county and district councils.

Called Real Help, Right Here, Right Now - the Business Advice Road Show, the seminars will also give business owners and managers the opportunity for one-to-one sessions with Business Link's experienced advisers.

In the South of the region the events are being held at the following venues:

  • Taunton School, Taunton, on April 21
  • Future Inns, Plymouth, on May 7
  • Alverton Manor, Truro, on May 13
  • Exeter Golf and Country Club, Exeter, on May 19
